DAME, a subscription service for period product boxes, has appointed Threepipe to run new customer acquisition programmes and PR support. Threepipe began the activity to coincide with the appearance of DAME’s founders on the BBC’s popular Dragons’ Den show on February 12th.
The average woman will use 11,000 to 15,000 products and experience 3,500 menstrual days in a lifetime and DAME has been created with a view to help normalise periods, operating under the motto of ‘easy, simple, period’.
Threepipe will be running paid social and paid search campaigns to drive awareness and sales of the subscription service, which offers period product boxes from just £3.50 per month. The boxes feature market –leading brands such as Tampax, Lil-Lets, Always and Bodyform and also include added extras such as vitamins, heat pads and ibuprofen to provide customers with the essentials for a stress-free period.
