Following
a five way pitch, Notcutts the UK's leading garden
centre business has appointed Threepipe to launch
its Kitchen Garden campaign which begins later
this month.
Activity will focus on driving national awareness

excited about growing their own fruit and vegetables
throughout the spring season and which highlights
the expertise that Notcutts staff offer to the
general public.
Jim Hawker, Co Founder, Threepipe: "A great
account to be working on and we can't wait to
pull on our wellies and dig for victory. Gardening

ECB Digital Campaign
up for Sports Industry Award
The
Great Exhibition campaign for the England and
Wales Cricket Board has been shortlisted for “Best
Use of Digital Communications” at the prestigious
Sport Industry Awards, thanks to a highly creative
and successful online and social media campaign
that combined fan-generated contact, celebrity
clips, classic Ashes clips and exclusive competitions.
An integrated campaign was developed, integrating
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and various
online media to reinforce the message that TwelfthMan,
the ECB’s England supporters club, helps
fans get closer to the England team. Activity
included inviting England supporters to go online
and express their support for the team, with the
best messages being printed and put on display
in the England changing room before each Ashes
test. We also challenged fans to upload footage
of themselves singing England’s unofficial
cricket anthem, with the best clips to be combined
into a full version of the hymn and shown at each
test ground.
Twitter was a key communication channel, with
celebrities including Lily Allen, Stephen Fry
and David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd getting involved
and Tweeting their support for the campaign.

Threepipe to Relaunch
The Florence Nightingale Museum in her Centenary
Year
Threepipe has been brought into help relaunch
the Florence Nightingale Museum on May 12, the
birth date of the Lady of the Lamp. Located on
London’s South Bank, the transformed Museum
marks the centenary of Florence’s death,
telling the real story of the woman behind the
legend as well as how modern nursing began.
Situated in the grounds of St Thomas’ Hospital
on the site where Florence established her very
first Nightingale Training School for Nurses,
the Museum tells her story via three pavilions,
focusing on her Victorian childhood, the Crimean
War and her later years as an ardent campaigner
for health reform. The Museum also celebrates
the profession of nursing and explores Florence’s
legacy to today’s nursing practice.
The Museum features an unparalleled collection
of Nightingalia, with highlights including the
writing slate Florence used as a child; the medicine
chest she took to the Crimean war; a rare Register
of Nurses which lists the women who served under
her in the military hospitals in Turkey and the
Crimean; and her pet little Owl Athena who travelled
everywhere in her pocket.
Jim Hawker, Co Founder, Threepipe: “ This
is a special year for Florence and we are really
excited about being part of it all. There are
some exciting new exhibits to reveal and new stories
to tell about one of the world’s most admired
women.”

Windsor Appoints Threepipe to Launch ‘Pirates
Landing’
Following a five way pitch, LEGOLAND Windsor has brought in Threepipe to launch
the first LEGO pirate themed area within a British
theme park. The brand new land opens in March
2010 and children wanting to become pirates for

Children can learn swashbuckling and sea faring

find their sea legs on the Pirate Dynamite Drench
water ride. Threepipe will work with the LEGOLAND
Windsor in house PR team to launch the new land

and campaign ideas to drive national media coverage
for the new land and for the park.

had great fun coming up with pirate themed ideas
and can’t wait to make them happen this

Threepipe Drives Viral
Awareness for Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Help
a London Child Promotion
Gourmet
Burger Kitchen has created an unique 2 for 1 offer
this January and Threepipe is helping to drive
the awareness of the promotion.
Simply buy a burger, donate a pound to the Help
a London Child charity and you get the second
burger for free! Help a London Child is Capital
Radio’s charity of choice and Threepipe
has been managing the radio promotion of the deal
through the Capital and Capital Gold radio shows,
devising the on air scripts and managed a photoshoot
with Jonny Vaughan.
We have also created a viral video which we filmed
earlier this week to help drive consumers to a
page where they can download the promotional voucher.
We are seeding the content into video sharing
sites, promoting through national online media
and through the Gourmet Burger Kitchen database.
We had lots of fun filming it - check it out at:

Threepipe passes CMS
with flying colours
We recently passed the PRCA's CMS audit with
"flying colours". CMS is the industry
benchmark of a well-run agency and is a guarantee
of a commitment to deliver the high levels of
quality and professionalism to clients and a focus
on staff training and development. We're delighted
to be one of the fairly small number of agencies
to achieve this standard, for the second time.
