British Olympic Association
Barbarians v. Australia Rugby Union:

Objective:
Launch and promote Barbarians vs. Australia at Wembley, a rugby union
game to celebrate the centenary of the 1908 Olympic Games.
Communicate the BOA’s involvement in staging the fixture.

Activity:
We used a combination of player interviews, social media, creative news
generation, media promotions and an intensive focus on listings placement to
maximise awareness of the game and reach the widest possible audience.

Results:
Over 50 pieces of coverage in national, sports, lifestyle, broadcast and
online media.
A total potential audience reach of over 75 million.
Ticket sales of over 50,000 for the game.
