Active 2, the revolutionary home fitness programme,
generating positive coverage in national,
broadcast, fitness, consumer, lifestyle and
online media.

With David Beckham as the global
ambassador for EA SPORTS Active 2, we had
a unique opportunity to take some high-level
UK media over to LA to have a workout with
David. T4, Daybreak and The Sun got to see
the product in action for the first time and
had the chance to compare their fitness levels
to the former England captain.

Back in London, a media launch
event was organised, featuring Victoria Pendleton,
Ben Shepherd and Melinda Messenger and designed
to generate opportunities in a range of media.
Media trials and interviews resulted in coverage
in the Evening Standard, Metro, Sport, Best,
Now and Health & Fitness. Content from
the day was placed into a range of online
media, from TheSun.co.uk to mums blogs, helping
to communicate the key messages around Active
2 to the widest possible audience.

Alongside the talent activity,
EA SPORTS Active 2 has also been featured
and reviewed in various national and lifestyle
media and we’ve been working with individual
journalists to encourage them to take on the
in-build fitness challenges to really see
what a difference it can make in just a few
weeks. In the build up to Christmas, we’ve
also been promoting Active 2 as an ideal gift
and a great way to get in shape for Christmas
parties, or for the post-Christmas fitness
regime!
