Objective:
Leverage Siemens’ GB Rowing sponsorship with a campaign to engage
with a business and consumer audience
Support Siemens positioning as an innovative, responsible business.

Activity:
Threepipe created Stroke for Stroke, an annual event challenging
people to row 10km in aid of The Stroke Association.
Using research showing the benefits of regular exercise in combating
stress and reducing the risk of stroke, the campaign encouraged people
to sign up to a 10km sponsored rowing challenge
Gym chain LA Fitness was signed up as a campaign partner to provide
access to indoor rowing machines.
Stroke for Stroke Week was promoted in business, consumer, sports,
health and lifestyle media.
Siemens internal audience was engaged through an indoor rowing
regatta event
Threepipe took Stroke for Stroke on the road to top Universities to reach
out to students and rowing clubs

Results:
A total of 61 pieces of media coverage, with a reach of over 90m
A media value of over £500,000, with 95% of coverage featuring the key
campaign messages
Over £75,000 of sponsorship money raised to date for The Stroke
Association.
