Activity: • Threepipe created Stroke for Stroke, an annual
event challenging people
to row 10km in aid of The Stroke Association. • Using research showing the benefits of regular
exercise in combating stress
and reducing the risk of stroke, the campaign
encouraged people to
sign up to a 10km sponsored rowing challenge • Gym chain LA Fitness was signed up as a campaign
partner to provide access
to indoor rowing machines. • Stroke for Stroke Week was promoted in business,
consumer, sports, health
and lifestyle media. • Siemens internal audience was engaged through
an indoor rowing regatta
event • Threepipe took Stroke for Stroke on the road to
top Universities to reach out
to students and rowing clubs
Results: • A total of 61 pieces of media coverage, with a
reach of over 90m • A media value of over £500,000, with 95%
of coverage featuring the key campaign
messages • Over £75,000 of sponsorship money raised
to date for The Stroke Association.
