Objective: • To help Slazenger achieve product stand-out and
awareness of its long-running
sponsorship of The Championships at Wimbledon,
we created
an integrated PR campaign.
Activity: • Product placement, player interviews, media promotions
and press releases
highlighting key facts about the official Wimbledon
balls, kept the
brand and products highly visible throughout the
tournament. • To engage with the female audience we also created
the Slazenger “Ball
Girl Workout”. Partnering with The Championships’
official ball boy and
ball girl trainer, we developed a unique fitness
programme to be trialled
during Wimbledon fortnight at a flagship LA fitness
gym in London. • Journalists were invited to experience the sessions
for themselves, delivering
Slazenger branded coverage and website links in
the London Evening
Standard and Closer online.
