Case Study - World of Difference

World of Difference is Vodafone's flagship corporate responsibility
programme, providing funding for people to spend time working for
charity.
Through World of Difference, 500 people can get paid work placements,
for two months or a whole year, at a charity of their choice in the UK or
overseas.
We helped to launch the campaign in summer 2009, using traditional and
social media channels to raise awareness of the opportunity and to
encourage online applications, followed by an intensive programme of
regional PR, focused on the 500 winners.
Over 450 pieces of media coverage have been generated to date, with
a total reach of 75 million, and more than 130,000 people joining the
World of Difference Facebook community.
