Following a competitive pitch, Harlequins has appointed Threepipe to develop the campaign creative and media strategy to drive awareness and ticket sales for ‘Big Game 12’, its fixture at Twickenham Stadium on December 28th against Leicester Tigers.
Big Game 12 is an annual Gallagher Premiership Rugby fixture, played at the home of rugby with Harlequins as the home team in front of a crowd of up to 80,000 people. It is a full day packed full of entertainment and a fireworks display which is designed to attract non rugby fans, as well as those that regularly watch rugby at the home of the Harlequins, The Stoop.
Threepipe has devised a creative campaign across print and digital channels to appeal to casual rugby fans which is built around ‘Expect Fireworks’ and ‘London’s Biggest Rugby Party’ and which emphasises the excitement of the day, both on and off the field. The new campaign and the assets are being developed by Threepipe’s creative team, Earnie.
Threepipe is delivering the creative across paid social channels and supporting with a paid search and retargeting strategy to drive ticket sales across the Harlequins website.
