The Drum Marketing Awards 2019 saw Threepipe in attendance thanks to the marquee Cricket World Cup 2019 ‘Are You In’ campaign receiving a nomination in the sports category.
It was the second year in succession that Threepipe have played a pivotal role in a nominated sports campaign, with the ECB’s ‘Go Boldly’ taking home the prize last year.
As the media agency for the campaign, Threepipe worked in conjunction with a number of partner agencies to drive awareness of the tournament to a core and non-core audience, as well as driving ticket registrants and applicants, to facilitate high attendances of tournament events and to establish foundations for a lasting legacy.
A blend of online and offline tactics in an audience first approach helped to ensure that targets were surpassed. With the tournament set to become the best attended Cricket World Cup and the host nation slated as early favourites, as well as an Ashes series, Cricket will be taking be taking centre stage this summer.
Whilst we were not winners on the night, the campaign was recognised as Highly Commended by the judges. Our congratulations go out to everyone nominated and of course the winners on the night.
