Threepipe Helps Museum of London Mark the 350th Anniversary of the Great Fire of London

06 September 2016 | Social

This weekend marked 350 years since the Great Fire of London rampaged through the City of London. We helped the Museum of London mark this anniversary and promote their Fire! Fire! exhibition by creating a series of animated GIFs that explained the timeline of the Great Fire from 2nd– 4th September 1666, whilst acting as a teaser for the exhibition. A new video was released across the Museum’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts each day. Check out each of the videos below:

The Fire! Fire! exhibition aims to educate and inform on what is still today one of London’s greatest ever disasters. The exhibition, which is open until April 2017, details what life was like in 1666, how the fire started and how it was brought under control. It also examines the impact the fire had on both Stuart and modern London. Find out more here: https://www.museumoflondon.org.uk//museum-london/whats-on/exhibitions/fire-fire
